Do you miss him ?
For people who are married, do you miss your other half when he or she is not at home ? I suppose some don't. What's there to miss when you'll see each other again in a few hr's time ? For some, i even believe this may be a good break for them..like having some fresh air, some breathing space, without having to face the person at all times.
Kit Kit is out having dinner with a fren tonight, so I'm at home with my mom & aunt. Suddenly, I miss him, and i sent an sms to tell him that. I don't know why...he makes me angry at times, for he's so slow ( to me ) in doing things, whereas I'm so kiasu and impatient...so he does get on my nerves at times. But on the other hand, he told me I'm sometimes very unreasonable...and I also get on his nerves at times. See, i believe one behaves very differently in front of family and frens. I throw my temper quite often at home, for at the back of my mind, i know my family members will always give in to me no matter what. It is also in front of close family members that you show your true colours.
Anyway, even with all the above, i miss him when i don't see him around. I think after marriage, you grow accustomed to the other person. Even if the 2 of you may be doing different things in
the same house, having each other's presence is a blessing. I find it very secure and safe knowing he's there with me.
Oh well, i'm just a little bit upset that he didn't get me my sunflower for my b'day. He's like any other man who hates giving flowers. The only time i received a flower was last yr's lily for my b'day. I kept complaining, but he said he is romantic in his own ways for he cares for me, and the ways he cares are very practical. Come to think of it, he tells me "I Love You" at least once a day. Isn't that worth clapping for ? It may be just 3 words, but women being women, we still like to hear it.
I guess God has a reason for us to be together. We compliment each other. When i was young, I used to think it's better for 2 people of the same character to be together, for i can't imagine how 2 different people can live together. But now, i've come to realize God works in miraculous ways. As i see couples around me, they're really quite opposite of each other, thus the saying "opposites attract"...and hence, life gets on percefully as each is the compliment of the other. Remember Econs ? Complimentary goods....haha....
Just received a call from him. He's coming home. Yes....one of the best things abt married life is that you go back to the same house together, don't have to suffer those moments whereby you have to bid bye bye and go separate ways home after a date.
I can't wait to see him.

I also don't believe in giving flowers. Maybe the 12 years of relationship ups and downs under my belt has made me so cynical of romance that I think Romance is a poor substitution for people who doesn't know true love is.
I do say me fair share of "I Love You"s. But that's only when I really feel the love @ the moment and not as a lip service. If not I can just write a program to SMS and Email the "I Love You"s many many times.
