Such a Bliss
Met up with my darling today. No, my darling is not my hubby...hahaha..but another guy.
All along, somehow, I'm always very close with guys. Way before in JC, up till Uni, somehow those close frens i made are all guys. Minus those SC pals of cuz. I always tell my hubby my behaviour is more like a guy : straight forward, frank, and sometimes a bit 粗鲁，which means...rough ? Not to mention that I like soccer, which is a hot fav among all guys. Guess they all treat me as their buddies.
Anyway, i knew darling in JC1...then we became closer in JC2, and through him, I got to know his frens, out of whom 1 has become my buddy as well. One thing abt darling is he always makes one feel comfortable. He'll introduce his frens to you, so that makes you part of his world. But i think that can also be attributed to him being afraid of loneliness and bordom. He once told me he finds going out with the same person boring, and he likes going out with a big crowd. That also explains why he's never with the same person...usually...
Darling was wild but has become more toned-down in recent yrs. Guess age and work stress is catching up on him.
We shared much happiness, crazy times and sadness together for these 11 yrs..yupz, this yr is the 11th yr that we've known each other. Throughout the yrs, our frenship evolved, and now, we're just like family. His mother is my god-mother, which makes him my god-brother effectively.
Darling is actually quite tempremental, and it takes some patience to actually tolerate his nonsense at times. But i guess I've come to terms with his behaviour. I find that I can tolerate more cuz I always have a soft spot for him. What touches me the most is no matter how busy or where he is, he'll always remember my b'day. This didn't change even when he was in Australia studying a few yrs back.
Such is bliss, meeting up over a cup of coffee and catching up.
