Being Serious

Of all things that I'm being serious about (family, work, friends etc), this is something which I'm surprised to hear.
Was at my godma's place with the CNY goodies that I've bought...
Kenneth: Ah girl, you're so serious about CNY !
The other day, i told my husband I will be going for my facial and pedicure and hair-cut in preparation for CNY, and he also said, " You're so serious abt CNY !"
Yupz...i guess i am. I like CNY. It's really funny i know, but I love those loud Chinese songs you hear when you step into shopping malls during this period of time, and i love doing all the New Yr shopping for the goodies and groceries.
Either I'm an auntie or I'm from another era (as my husband loves to say)
