Love Lost
Words can't express my joy when Tracy left a comment on my blog yesterday. I immediately linked to her blog to take a look at her inner thoughts and current life...
Tracy Tracy....she's such a dear gal to me. But i guess she'd gone through some rough patches that proved traumatic at her age, something that neither you nor me would wanna go through.
Her first love went home to the Lord on 11th March 2005.
I still remember the shock when her mom called me to break the news...i didn't even know...i was busy preparing for my wedding then...tears sprang to my eyes immediately. I know the guy. A very sweet guy. We went out together, she'll bring him along....and we'll go out together, and he used to call me "teacher teacher"...and we watched "The Eye2"@ Jurong Point, 1st row seats, with Tracy grabbing onto me and him...then I'll fetch them home...him 1st to Bukit Batok, then her to West Coast...I have enjoyed every minute of it. That's not the only time, of cuz...i also brought them to HRC to celebrate her 18th B'day...and we took a photo....and we went Forum and took pictures with his mobile camera..
Within 1 yr, I see Tracy change. She used to be very mad and jovial, but nowadays, she seems more quiet and serious. Maybe it's stress from studies ? I don't know...but I'm sure she misses him badly.
I dreamt of him that night...really strange....a man from a watch shop asked me whether I know him, cuz he found a watch that belonged to him. I told the man, "I can't, cuz he'd passed away."...i woke up, and i can't believe what i've dreamt....i almost cried..
I feel sad...I do not know how to reach out to my dear gal when that happened...i'm sure her close frens would have comforted her...I'm sure her closely knitted family members would have been there for her, but somehow, I wish i have the capability to do much more...
I guess life has to move on, but she'll never forget him...and she's the one girl whom he'd loved..in his short span of life.
My dear Tracy, if you ever read this, just know that I am always here for you...
