Skincare Freak

I read Yvonne's blog and she said that she'll rather spend her $$ on bags and shoes, thus she seldom spends on skincare or facials. Me, on the other hand, is the exact opposite.
I LOVE FACIALS.Seriously, i'm not sure why I'm so addicted to facials. My 1st facial was done when i was abt 22/23 yrs old ? At a salon underneath my place. After that, i started going to more "high-class" places, which also means more "high-end", which leads to more $$ spent. Currently, I have a package at Bella Skincare, and their facials are superb. But, the money spent is "superb" too.
Why do i love facials ? I love the feeling of getting my face clean, having people fuss over your face while you lie there like a queen. I love the massage, the stuff applied onto my face, the mask, the eye cream, and the fact that my eyebrows are trimmed neatly, blackheads are squeezed out etc.
Skincare products. I'm equally mad abt skincare products, esp cleansers. For me, cleaning the face is the most impt step. I started using Shiseido cleanser when i was only 16...then i moved on to Estee Lauder, Origins, Biotherm, SKll, Lancome,Sothys, Guinot, Mary Cohr, Avene, Body Shop Vitamin E cleanser, Eucerin, La Pairie..not to mention the serum, eye-cream and toner that I've bought. People who come to my toilet will faint at the sight of the amount of skincare products i have.
I realized that the amt of $$ i've spent on my face all these yrs could have been used to buy a Gucci, Prada, or maybe a LV ??
The facial therapist told me my hubby is very lucky to marry me cuz I'm not the type who want to go for holiday every yr...i told her, "No difference, cuz I spent all my money on my face"
Perhaps I just belong to the cetegory of women who makes a huge fuss over their skin. Maybe it's an obsession. And i can't stop myself.
