Last sparkle of 2005

The above picture was taken at Kit Kit's farewell dinner held by his colleagues. Yup, with effect from 2006, Kit Kit is joining me in teaching ! However, he'll be a contract teacher first, afterwhich he'll go into NIE for training.
Maybe after being in the teaching force, then he'll understand why I'm always so "gan jiong"...why i do things super fast, why i eat super fast...why i sometimes throw temper for no reasons. Cuz teaching trains one to eat fast. Imagine..we don't have a 1-hour lunch break like most office people...we just must find time to eat whenever we're free...and that means, we can be eating lunch at 11am, or as late as 1.30pm...no standard time..and we usually gulp down a meal in 5 mins...as there are so many things to do !
And of cuz, he'll then know why I talk loudly...there's a joke saying that it's very easy to recognize teachers in a cafe...those who talk super loudly muz be teachers ! Yaaa...cuz we must project our voice when we speak in class !
Anyway, i'm glad he is excited abt his new job. I guess it won't be easy, esp when he has no experience at all ! But whatever, we all learn along the way...all de best Kit Kit !

We were at Conrad hotel during New Yr eve...it's my annual hotel stay over....and this time round, we chose Conrad...and yupz, this is what i've managed to capture on my camera through the window of Conrad...actually Pan Pacific hotel has the best view. But anyway, i'm glad i caught hold of this shot ! The sparkles are amazing ! 2005 isn't exactly a very good yr for some of us...many sad things happen in 2005, but 2006 is a brand new yr...let's keep our hopes alive...
